On Christmas Eve night we all opened our matching jammies and I made the girls pose in front of the tree. They wrote their note to Santa and looked adorable and loving in front of my tree with my new 1950's pastel look. (I went a little crazy on decorations this year and revamped my Christmas decor to reflect colors that remind me of Christmas with my Grandma Evans.)

CHRISTMAS WITH THE CREW
We celebrated Christmas day on the 24th at Ashley's house. We had a really good meal (Still thinking about those cinnamon rolls if I'm honest) and we opened gifts of course.
Mom got everyone Minnie ears for our upcoming Disneyland trip and we all got excited for that adventure. I was so excited to give Ava and Stella their authentic Taylor Swift autographs. I had gotten them ages ago and I was only able to get four of them and honestly after those were gifted I kind of felt like Christmas could be over. Dad pulled the ultimate joke when he wrapped up a mug for mom acting like it was her big gift and she was obviously so irritated with it. But then, surprise! Her real gift was outside I new bike to cruise around Daybreak in...(almost July and I am not sure she has used it yet, but still...) Good job Dad!
I've also started documenting when Brent checks out and sleeps when he is with family. It is not my favorite.
Overall, it was a fun fun fun Christmas. I've still stood by cutting back on unnecessary gifts and I don't regret it.
On the way there Vivi got it in her head that she wanted a Boxy Girl for Christmas. They are basically dolls that come with boxes to open with accessories. It was the very last minute, but Vivi gave it a shot to ask Santa for one last magical request. On the way home from Ashley's house she rolled down the window and yelled to the sky: "Santa! This is Vivien Sallay in Utah. If you have time I would like a Boxy Girl and a Barbie Airplane. I've been really good this year. Thank you! Buh Bye!" Now that is not an exact quote and I helped a bit. But we then had to wait until the next day to see if it worked...

THE EVE BEFORE CHRISTMAS EVE
Ashley did not have her kiddos this Christmas so we went out for our Christmas Eve dinner on December 23rd. We had Chinese at Asian Star and I brought the good camera out. My main motivation if I'm honest is that I looked cute so I wanted it documented. Mom got the kids all little gifts because she can't help herself and we had a delicious dinner.
