THERE IS WHINING IN BALLOON FIGHTING

Lindsey is so good at making sure we have some fun summer events. This is the third year that we have had a balloon fight and I know Stella looks forward to it as a great summer tradition. This year Ady and Stella offered to help Lindsey prepare the balloons. They realized this year pretty quickly how much work it is to get ready for a balloon fight. Both girls were very frustrated with how the boys were taking the balloons for granted. I told Stella, welcome to life.

They all had tons of fun, but there was more whining this year than in years past. Everyone wanted to come up with more rules and if someone wasn't following the rules then someone else got mad. Plus, guess what? Sometimes getting hit by a water balloon actually hurts! I know, right? Surprise. Overall though, it was fun. Both Lindsey and I got in on it too in the end, but I was kind of a baby about getting wet this year. At least my camera made it out unscathed.

The grand finale was just like last year. Everyone wanted Lindsey to dump the whole bucket of water on them. Oh summer...
