LAZY FLORIDA

I purchased our plane tickets for our January Florida trip while we were there in October. We were in Florida for about a week (January 10-16) and didn't do anything. We didn't get the best weather, but it was still a great, relaxing trip. We played in the pool and then the next day it rained, so the girls mostly sat by the pool and snuggled together. We made a visit to the outlets where Vivi went absolutely bonkers at the Disney outlet every time she saw Mickey or Minnie Mouse. After a few days at the house, we headed to Vero Beach.

The temperature dropped by the time we got to Vero so we never went to the pool. We tried to go walk around on the beach one afternoon, but it was so cold and SO windy. Sand was blasting us in the face and on our legs. On the upside, we had the beach to ourselves for the five minutes that we dared to stay outside. Beach day was January 14.

Our visit went by so fast even though we hardly accomplished anything. It truly was my favorite kind of winter visit.
