It is not a secret. We love summer vacation, and we hate back to school. And here it was on August 19th, Stella's last first day as an elementary school girl. We dropped off Stella and then Vivi and I went home sad and lonely. I am one of very few moms that still go and drop off their kid now that they are sixth graders, but she is still my baby and I can't help myself.
About a month in to school, they announced that both 5th and 6th grades would move up into Junior high next year. I feel so lucky that Stella got one more year of elementary because this has been a really good year for her for making more friends and realizing she might be ready for Jr. High.
