OUT ON THE TOWN

The Monday after Easter we met all of the Sallay's after Vivi's nap time at the Albuquerque botanical garden and aquarium. Nicholas and Vivien were being adorable together and walking all over the place hand in hand. Henry was cool as a cucumber and sweet as can be in his stroller and the girls had fun adventuring together. The garden has this area where everything is big so you feel small. The highlight was putting the kids in flower pots so they could be watered by a giant watering can.

We then headed over the the insect exhibit. Funny enough, I'm simply not a zoo person, but I sincerely was into all of the bugs. So was Vivi. She wanted to thoroughly look at every single cage to find the bugs and then say hi to them and then watch them. She was very bossy about that. Oh and what botanical garden is complete without a giant dragon? Nothing sets off floral delights better than a fake dragon.

We then went next door to the aquarium. I'm not much of a fan of these either, but I am a fan of Brent carrying Vivi around to see all of the fish.

We went to dinner at this local favorite place that was quite tasty and then we headed back to the house to hang out. I finally took some pictures of Henry. Honestly he was so good all of the time it was easy to forget he was around, and he napped so much. He is the best baby and so handsome and so delightful, and Vivi was into him.

That night Brent went back over again to play board games with John and I packed us up to head home. Our visit was too short, but it was time to get Brent back to work and Stella back to school. I'm so glad we spent Easter with these guys. We might make it a tradition, because it was so fun.
