NOT GUMMIES, GUMMOWS

Our summer Gummow visit could not come fast enough. Finally they arrived late July 31st.

The next day we got ourselves together enough to go up to Solitude. Heather was kind enough to let us stay the day using her condo and we were all over it. It was an absolutely beautiful day and we started at the pool forever. The kids would say they were hungry, but then they wouldn't want to leave because it was so fun to be at the pool. Heidi and I both had our books, but u don't think eithe of us read anything. We made taco soup for dinner and headed home after dark.

The next night we made the excellent decision to go to the Nickelcade. It was pretty busy, but it was Vivi's first time and that was so fun. She loved figuring out each game, and playing with Daddy. My favorite discovery was this game where you can throw balls at a screen and break stuff. Loved it! Worth every nickel.

The rest of the visit was laziness and eating out. But on Saturday we visited the Hall of Breakfast and it was amazing and I took 600 pictures, so it gets it's own post. The Gummows stayed until Sunday when they went to a baby blessing. Both of our summer visits were cut a bit short this year because of other obligations, it gets harder every year, but I'm so glad we make the time always.
